We asked our middle school students, “What is your dream?”

And our middle school program, dreambronx, has accepted the task of seeing those dreams through to fruition.

Dreaming is how we founded A House on Beekman. It is also the first step in breaking cycles of poverty. Our students must be able to envision a future for themselves that has previously been unavailable to their community. Our approach has three key initiatives: Fellowship (consisting of a robust, tiered-mentoring program, extracurricular programming, and expeditions), Scholarship (holistic academic program that includes targeted tutorials, social-emotional development, and career exploration), and Service (using students' academic knowledge and skills to address genuine community needs).
